Last wednesday, I got the first editions of the jericho comic book and was not disappointed. The story line picks up weeks following the conclusion of season 2, with Jake and Hawkins having swayed the republic of Texas to the US cause. Though most of the action occurs in Texas,with new plot complications and mysterious characters being introduced, jericho, and it's shadow existance is presented.

The origional writers of the show, Dan Shotz, Robert levine, and Alejandro F. Giraldo wrote these installiments, allowing for loyal continuity of the story, with ample support of the Jct. 93 production team. The story though is a bit abbreviated form the hour long episodes that we are used to, and the smaller more personal stories were eliminated altogether for publication sake (limited print space).

But all in all, I'll be loking forward to the remaining 5 installments, as well as the season 3 Book coming out in January 2010.This wait will make the winter go by fast.
